Rohingyas are being destroyed due to natural environment : Sheikh Hasina

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said that the natural environment of Cox's Bazar is being wasted due to the Rohingya who took shelter in Bangladesh after being expelled from Myanmar's Rakhine State. Referring to humanitarian reasons, Rohingya has been provided shelter, he said, I believe Rohingya will soon return to the country. The sooner they return to their home, the better. The Prime Minister said this at a seminar in the capital on Wednesday (July 10th). The International Seminar on Climate Adaptation is organized at the Hotel Intercontinental in the capital. The Prime Minister said the government has taken various steps to combat the loss of climate change. Forestry programs have been adopted in coastal areas. Besides, the government has also taken a long-term plan called 'Delta Plan 2100' to combat the loss of climate change. If it is fully implemented, the fate of the people of the coast will change. He said the government is working relentlessly for the socio-economic development of the people. In the past decade, there has been a lot of improvement in the socio-economic sector.
